While the benefits of one-on-one attention and exercise for your dog while you’re away are obvious, we hope you’ll rest easier knowing that our services also help keep your dog's stress levels to a minimum. By allowing your baby to eat, rest, and play in his home environment, your absence is much less traumatic for him...and you, whether it's for a few hours or a few days.
We take care of feedings, provide fresh water, go for walks, and give your dog much-deserved TLC anytime you’re away. We know how special she is to you, and you can count on us to spend at least 30 minutes with her at every visit. Longer visits can be arranged for extended walks, more playtime, or trips to the park. You can also rely on us to care for your plants, collect your mail, and handle trash containers, if you wish.
Everyone we meet says that they don't like imposing on their neighbors or friends everytime they go out of town or have to stay late at work. Now you don't have to ask them - you can ask us!

Rates
Happy Paws charges a one-time application/consultation fee of $10. This covers one 30-minute visit where we meet with you and your dog at your home. We review your Owner-Doggy Profile to learn about your dog's routine, habits, likes, dislikes, and medical needs, as well as your emergency contact information and other important details.
We currently have three sitters, myself (Farrah), Ryanne, and Annette, who we welcome back to Happy Paws after a short break! I live just off of Walton Way in Augusta, Ryanne is in the North Augusta/Aiken area, and Annette cares for our customers in Evans and Martinez. You and your dog will get to meet me and the sitter who cares for dogs in your area at the consultation, as there will be times when we need to cover visits for one another.
We use 'miles from a sitter' as a starting point for our rates. If you're wondering how far you are from us, go to googlemaps.com, click on Get Directions, and enter your address as the start address and "Happy Paws Dog Care" as the end address. This will give you mileage so that you can figure a "ball park" rate for each visit. Rates may vary slightly if Annette or Ryanne cares for your dog, depending upon your location.
Rates are based on 'miles from a sitter' and are for up to two dogs*:
- 0-10 miles..........$15 per visit
- 11-15 miles........$20 per visit
- 16-20 miles........$25 per visit
- >20 miles...........Call for price
Each additional dog is $3 per visit, and cats are an additional $2.50 each per visit. Major holidays, including New Years Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day are an extra $5 per visit.
